I was interested in the visual arts from a young age. My art education began early on with one on one training from a variety of artists & institutions, learning traditional principles, art history & theory, and contemporary concepts. I attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fl. After Ringling, I moved into an Artist Colony in West Palm Beach, where I was a working Artist showing in galleries and and taking commissions. During that time, I apprenticed under Ralph Wolfe Cowan, Master Portrait painter, who had had been commissioned for hundreds of official portraits of Heads of State (to include Presidents, Royalty, Clergy, and Stars of Popular Culture). I decided in 2005 that I wanted to serve and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. I am an Iraqi and Afghanistan Combat Veteran. I now reside in Venice, Florida. I am also currently accepting commission for Portraits and Sacred Art.
